About

Betsy Reiling

In my own words

Most children play from their true nature.  I did.  As a child, I loved to climb trees, plant daffodils, and more than anything, help my brother who was often sick.  This is my nature.  My work and life is a magnification of this nature.

As a tree climber, I have always stretched my reach.  After graduating from Allegheny College, I served in the Peace Corps in Africa.  The local Villagers referred to me as “Betsy who loves the children.”  The villagers explained that everything I did or advised always came from a deep caring, especially for children.  Today, my clients express relief and confidence in the face of my caring.

My Peace Corps service lead to a Masters in Public Health from The University of Pittsburgh.  I continue to be concerned with public health issues, and find that homeopathy offers cost-effective and humane solutions to many of today’s issues: health care costs, environmental concerns, drug-resistance and epidemics.

In my homeopathic training I continue to reach for greater heights and have studied with many of the leaders around the globe.  I have completed Paul Herscu’s Professional Course, Lou Klein’s Master Clinician’s Course (Canada), and Jeremy Sherr’s Dynamis School of Homeopathy (England, Israel, Africa).

In the past decade, I have been a part of the prestigious clinical seminars in India with Rajan Sankaran, the guru behind the revolutionary Vital Sensation Method.  This method has brought great accuracy in prescribing remedies rarely achieved before.  It also enlivened my practice and teaching.

I am the only practitioner in the Pittsburgh area to have earned the nationally recognized standard of knowledge, skill, and competence given by the Council for Homeopathic Certification.

I am on the core faculty of the American Medical College of Homeopathy, the first and oldest accredited school of homeopathy in modern times.   Also, I serve on the board of the Council for Homeopathic Education.

Teaching has been a passion of mine since college.  I have taught the balance of biodiversity to children, family planning to college students, yoga to reduce chronic pain, and homeopathic first aid.  In all of these varied venues, my joy has been to inspire passion in learning, expanding our limits, respecting our bodies and our world, and empowering others to contribute from their uniqueness.

As a homeopath I have treated over a thousand clients since 1997, restoring health to those that are suffering whether from autism, anxiety or infertility, whether they are 8 or 80.

I continue to reach for new heights, planting seeds of harmony, joy, and peace and above all else, doing what I can to bring healing to individuals and the world.
